oooh, I did not know what this was when I started reading it, It was just in the monster boy bundle, but I just finished reading it and I LOVED it so much ;;;-;;; This was such a sweet story, I loved the characters so much. I'm really interested in stories that explore insect hive and colony behavior in an anthropomorphic setting, (There's a novel called The Bee's which does similar things, it's like a court political thriller about bees?? Very weird but very good) and it was such a fun take on it!! Both Four and Sugar were such wonderful characters, I loved following their story. Thank you very much for writing this, I think it's my favorite from the bundle so far :3

I love colony insects, and I always secretly had a bone to pick with most fictional depictions of ant/bee colonies showing men in all the active roles for no reason, so I wanted to tell a bug story with a more "accurate" social structure while still making it BL, lmao... so anyway I am just OVERJOYED Hive Heart resonated with you, from bug friend to bug friend 🤝💖
